Prasadam_Divinefood is an excellent place to spend a day for lunch or dinner. We love the relaxing music they play, we love when they go to harvest fresh ingredients from the garden for our meals, we love the healthy foods, and soon they’ll even be harvesting these avocados right from their trees! Sunday is pizza day and their crust is EXQUISITE! I think you will love them. You’ll enjoy your time and meal there. -Randy Ryan

Excellent food, seriously delicious. Prices are reasonable and the service is friendly. A great place to hang out and meet new people while enjoying the atmosphere of the central square. My wife also had cake and loved it. So many vegan options. -mistagregory

An incredible experience! Healthy, delicious, and peaceful. Best kimchi in Ecuador. Stir-fried sweet potato noodles and dumplings are divine. Very authentic, high quality everything... including the hand-made tea in hand-made clay cups! Love the little side dishes that come with any entree and change every week. Great vegetarian and gluten free options. Super nice owners with friendly welcoming staff! Favorite restaurant in Vilcabamba. Also there are classes during the week like Tai Chi and pottery. Reviewed Jun 4, 2019 We stayed here for 4 nights as part of a wedding party. The staff were excellent through out and extremely helpful whenever we needed anything. We also had some laundry done, the service for which was excellent and very cheap. Both pools and hot tub were lovely. Restaurant was good, breakfast in particular was super. Did find the restaurant closed a bit early some days and not open on Mon/Tues so need to plan ahead for meals. The town is only a 10 min walk away and and has some good places for food. What a pleasant oasis in lovely Vilcabamba. Our room was spacious ,a fun glass rain shower, big fluffy towels, a comfortable bed, lots of wall plugs, hooks to hang things, and a row of hangers! Anya was so welcoming . The community kitchen was also well set up. -Rebecca USA

Everybody reviews all the food but the smoked chicken and pork. You have not eaten at this restaurant until you have tried the smoked meats. Nachos, empanadas and plato typico with the chicken or pork. Wow. - Mic Alevy (expat)

Fine dining in Vilcabamba If you're looking for really good Italian food, and yes a little more expensive but you get what you pay for. Quality food and menu and very good service. Definitely a good place for a celebratory meal and a nice glass of decent wine. Jo F

We’ve been searching for our favourite vegan pizza in Vilcabamba and I think we finally found it at CHARLITO’S! We ordered the vegetarian pizza without cheese and it was loaded with onions, mushrooms, olives, and a vibrant medley of brightly colored peppers. The sauce has some sweetness to it which I love, and the crust was baked just right so there is some crunch while still being chewy. The size was perfect for two people to share and feel satisfied. There are many pizzas to choose from. We love that the menu also has a veggie sandwich and a vegan burger made with the best tempeh we’ve ever had. The marinade for the tempeh is so flavorful! We also love our chats with Charlie and we appreciate that he shares knowledge and wisdom with us. We will definitely keep going back! - Dana Katvitski

The owners describes the store as a cell store but it is so much more than that. They have a good array of kitchen electronics and even pots and pans sets, plastic patio chairs and accessories for cell and other devices. Friendly service and very helpful. - Enzo M

Excellent quality and presentation of food that is prepared with a passion that is a true love of what they are doing in their kitchen. The evening special was a red mole sauce enchiladas with their signature pork . The cornucopia of flavour was not disappointing . The staff was eager to accommodate and the overall ambiance was conducive to a very enjoyable meal had by all. It was an excellent experience to have coming into the Ecuador. I traveled from Cuenca to Vilcabamba with Nestor's service and I must say it was enjoyable, the drivers are pleasant and even fun. They were punctual, polite and professional. The test of a good person and service was when I had to stay an unplanned night in Cuenca. Not knowing my way around the driver called about 10 different hotels to get me room. They were into their tourist season so rooms were hard to find. This was service beyond what was expected from them. The next day we were on my way to my destination. I highly recommend this service, it's worth every penny.

A fancy night out if you decide to do the set menu (and wine pairing) which we did, but absolutely worth it! Every dish was delicious and celebrated the wonderful foods and flavours of Ecuador. The best dining experience we have had so far during our visit. -Katherine Sleeth

This is one of the best places in all of Vilcabamba to hear music Great service and food. Directly in front of the square, where you can watch all the local events while eating delicious food at a very reasonable price! The garden area, with private alcoves of tables, as well as the beer garden/music/dance area is unparalleled. Lovely staff, honest, kind, and deeply caring.
